Things you learn working with a 10th floor window seat

The tops of the brown UPS trucks are white.

I thought it was really odd at first, but realized it probably keeps them cooler since white reflects the sunlight.

Stupid, random fact for the day...

Resolved Question

How come the top of UPS trucks are white? Why not brown?

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters
Two reasons.

1. Its a coating called supertherm, made to reduce interior temps.

2. It is translucent so light can get through.

P.S. Those trucks are like ovens in the back. If its 95 outside the inside cargo area can reach 120+!!!
